Crib Work consists of wire mesh net, reinforcing bars, mesh frames and sprayed mortar. It is a very simple structure on a slope but high technical skill is required to complete it with accuracy. Skilled workers and experiences enable to make it beautiful and effective.

There are roughly divided into two types of Crib Work: general one used with nails and one used solely for the purpose of a foundation of vegetation and preventing surface weathering.
